“Dakar must be a race for few people, Dakar is a dream, the dream of the Rose Lake, if everybody finish it, the dream is over”

Fabrizio Meoni (RIP)

The bike is a KTM 660 Rallye. It was purchased from the Spanish Correos team after only completing a few stages of Dakar 2005. When I asked why it had only done those stages, I was told, “because of a fall. It plowed off the finger of a hand…” The bike itself has only suffered a few cracks in the fairing, and some paint damage. It was painted blue for 2006 as yellow just isn’t my colour….
