Due to a large family get-together, I was unable to log on for the first time yesterday. We are very happy to hear that you are OK Peter and so very proud of you for your achievement!! We are thinking that a trip home would be good therapy - sounds good, huh??

Well, the real heroes are those who rides in the tail of the pack:
Not enough experience to ride with WOT on their refelexes in all kinds of terrain,
They will arrive after dark: Must carry a rucksack for their warm clothing instead of giving that away after sunrise.
Last starters, not being able to stay in front of the cars and trucks, have to go off the "road" every time, accepting a dust douche and dust tail.
After arrival, they have to work several hours on their bikes and they get serious sleep deprivation, while their tortured muscles are screaming for relief.
You are a real hero Peter,

Great effort, when i saw those bikes going trough the dessert i already tought, MAN THAT"S TOUGH !
At least you were able to ride a part of your dream.
When i read about your back i immidiatly rememberd all
the times you were laying on the shopfloor to strech your back.
